Shining a light on the 'Food for Thought Event' at Erasmus Sustainability Hub

On Friday 29 October the CfS Students organised the "Food for Thought" lunch lecture in collaboration with the Erasmus Sustainability Hub in Rotterdam. In this article the student board shines a light on the event.

The ambience was pleasant with a group of 14 participants. This played to our advantage at the end since it was easier to bound and manage the event this way. The event was both streamed online and hosted in the Sustainability Hub with live presentations from our two speakers. The speakers were inspiring, and we could connect with like-minded people that will probably show up again in our events! Matthijs Westerwoudt from the Dutch tea company “Wilder Land '' told us more about restoring biodiversity in the Netherlands, while Anne Sonnleitner from “Potjes & Deksels” showed us how a dream of a zero-waste shop became a reality. Complimenting the insights, the participants and speakers connected over a yummy vegan lunch and deserts.
