In this series of talks we invite scientists to explore the challenges, opportunities, technologies and methods relevant to studying the future of resource use. This includes topics such as circular economy, mining and critical raw materials. The aim is to share knowledge across Leiden University, TU Delft and Erasmus University Rotterdam; to exchange ideas; and to support interdisciplinary discussion on the future of resources.

Professor Conny BakkerConny Bakker is professor at the faculty of Industrial Design Engineering at TU Delft. Her research field is Design for the Circular Economy, in particular the design and development of products that are used more than once (i.e. that have multiple lifecycles). She explores and develops design methods and strategies for product life-extension, reuse, remanufacturing and recycling, as well as the business models that enable these strategies.
