Humans are changing every aspect of the planet, including our ecosystems, soils and atmosphere. Currently, we live in this human-influenced epoch, termed the Anthropocene, it has become one of the ‘hottest’ topics in current academics. Philosopher Rene ten Bos, author of Dwalen in het Antropoceen, takes us with on a journey through the Anthropocene. He will let us rethink the relationship between humans and nature and explains how to navigate the labyrinth of this new dramatic time period.

Rene ten Bos is Professor of Philosophy and Organisational Theory at the Radboud University Nijmegen and holds the chair in Philosophy of Management Sciences. His work features often heavy themes which he addresses with humor and cheerfulness, topics include, among many others, the relationship between men and animals and the ecological catastrophe named humanity. In April 2017 he received the honorable title Philosopher Laureate of the Netherlands (Denker des Vaderlands).
