Leiden-Delft-Erasmus Centre for Sustainability is organizing a Food Waste Challenge at airline company Transavia. During this challenge students from Delft and Erasmus University combine their interdisciplinary background to provide Transavia with innovative and sustainable solutions.

The case

Transavia faces some waste challenges within their in-flight sales operations. They invited students from Leiden-Delft-Erasmus Centre for Sustainability to participate in a case challenge and lower their waste. Multidisciplinary teams with both business and technical students will compete against each other and the winning team will receive a prize from Transavia!

Who
All ambitious students from TU Delft and Erasmus University with an interest in the aviation industry, forecasting models, big data, programming, sustainability and supply chain management or related subjects were invited.
