Dutch and Moroccan researchers have joint forces to address the main challenge of the Agadir region: a rapidly increasing shortage of water. The Leiden-Delft-Erasmus Centre for Sustainability (LDE CfS) is involved in several projects for sustainable food production. LDE CfS co-initiated the Greenport Morocco partnership for research and knowledge sharing and organizes the Food Water Energy Nexus mini-conference. Meanwhile Dutch master students visit Agadir for their master thesis about practical solutions.
