Discovering shared results with Lego

To get a better understanding of complex sustainable challenges, students from different faculties and courses of Leiden University, Erasmus University Rotterdam and Delft University of Technology have been working together with Lego Serious Play, in our Interdisciplinary Thesis Lab. While building with the blocks they tried to figure out the relationships between the different topics and individual Mastertheses they had been working on, sharing individual and common questions and findings, finding out how everything connects.

Challenges varied from sustainable aircraft, hospitals and greenhouse activities to circular cities and the optimal (re)use of resources. No better way to discover and share stories than with lego. A great joy to see students building in such a deep concentration, being inspired, listening, questioning, shifting and sharing. Next week students will be presenting their shared results, some in private, some in public settings, such as the Round Table ‘Sustainable Hospitals’. Feel free to join!
