In the first edition of online lunch lectures organised by the LDE CfS Students for this academic year, Tomer Fishman (Associate professor at the Institute of Environmental Sciences in Leiden University) will tell you how materials and how efficient resource use can be applied to decrease emissions by 2050. Accompanied by real life examples and surprising results, you will learn how different strategies are used in practice in various sectors to achieve more sustainable world. The lecture will touch upon concepts of circular economy, cutting down emissions and minimizing effects of material extraction.
