In this series of talks we invite scientists to explore the challenges, opportunities, technologies and methods relevant to studying the future of resource use. This includes topics such as circular economy, mining and critical raw materials. The aim is to share knowledge across Leiden University, TU Delft and Erasmus University Rotterdam; to exchange ideas; and to support interdisciplinary discussion on the future of resources. 

Dr. Mike BuxtonMike Buxton is an associate professor at TU Delft and is currently Section Head for Resource Engineering. He worked for 16 years in the South African mining industry as an exploration geologist, mine geologist, technical due diligence and business improvement. He will share his extensive knowledge on mining with us.
