Kennisuitwisseling met studenten, wetenschappers en ambtenaren
Op 26 maart zullen de master studenten van het Resilient Cities afstudeerprogramma hun eerste resultaten en onderzoeksplannen delen. We nodigen onderzoekers, ambtenaren en andere geïnteresseerden uit om kennis op te doen en vooral ook input en feedback te geven op de afstudeeronderzoeken. Middels pitches & posters krijgt u snel een overzicht van de lopende onderzoeken binnen dit afstudeerprogramma.
Over het Resilient Cities afstudeerprogramma
Dit programma is onderdeel van de Cities Hub van het Leiden-Delft-Erasmus Centre for Sustainability. Het Resilient Cities programma doet onderzoek in de gemeente Leiden en Den Haag naar de effecten van verschillende duurzaamheidsmaatregelen op de leefbaarheid van de stad. Bijvoorbeeld: Welke duurzame energie technologieën zijn er en wat zijn de voor- en nadelen hiervan? Wat is het effect van groen in de stad voor leefbaarheid? Of we kijken naar circulaire gebiedsontwikkeling: Op welke manier kan de gemeente circulair bouwen stimuleren?

Knowledge Exchange Between Students, Scientists and Policymakers
On the 26th of March, the master students of the Resilient Cities programme will present the first results from their research. We are happy to extend an invitation to researchers, civil workers, entrepreneurs and any other interested parties to share expertise, and particularly extend knowledge to provide input and feedback to the students. By means of pitches and posters, you will get an insight into the ongoing research projects at the Resilient Cities graduation track.
About the Resilient Cities Programme
This programme is part of the Cities Hub of the Leiden-Delft-Erasmus Centre for Sustainability. The resilient city programme focuses on urban resilience and urban metabolism. The programme does research within the municipalities of Leiden and The Hague and examines the effects of various sustainability measures. For example: Which sustainable energy technologies exist, and what are the opportunities and challenges for its use? What is the effect of green areas in cities? Or, we look at topics such as circular urban development: how can municipalities stimulate circular construction?
