The Circular Industries Hub of the LDE Centre for Sustainability will organize an interactive afternoon where you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of case studies from KPN in cooperation with its collaborating companies. Master students from Leiden University, Erasmus University Rotterdam and the TU Delft with an interest in circular industries are welcome to attend. We will discuss the following questions:
- Heat map of materials: what materials will be scarce for the IT sector in the future and what alternatives can you think of?
- Recycled aluminium for the telecom IT sector: what do companies need to pay attention to when selecting this material and how do other sectors handle this?
- Rare earth metals: what possibilities does KPN have tomorrow, in a year and over 25 years to reduce the impact of rare earth metals in the entire KPN supply chain?
