Only for students from Leiden, Delft and Erasmus university!
Are you interested in writing your master thesis on technical and social innovations in the field of sustainable food production? Then we invite you to the first meeting of our Greenport Hub on November 8, from 15:00 – 17:00 at the Leiden Campus in The Hague. In the Greenport Hub we research how we can feed a growing world population in a sustainable and healthy way. For this, we focus on the horticulture in the province of Zuid-Holland. More information about the Greenport Hub can be found here.
At the meeting, the Top Sector Horticulture (Topsector Tuinbouw en Uitgangsmaterialen), one of our partners, will give an overview of the main research themes in the horticultural sector. They explain the origin of these research questions and inform you which companies in the horticultural sector are involved. This gives you the opportunity to choose your topic of interest and gives you a better understanding of the companies you can work with.
We also want to present our programme: how many times do we meet, what will happen at our hub meetings, what kind of other activities do we organise for you. And it is a chance to meet other students or even partner up with students who have the same focus.
If you are interested to join, please register (see register button below). If you already know what kind of research you want to do, we ask you to let us know so we can already incorporate this in our first meeting.
If you have questions, please contact Fenna Plaisier – firstname.lastname@example.org
