We are excited to announce that this Wednesday will be the first Resilient City Hub meeting. Students will present their master thesis topic to other students and stakeholders involved in the hub, like the municipality of Leiden en Den Haag.
Within the resilient city hub, student research topics related to:
1) The material basis of the city: material stocks & flows and circular economy
2) The livable city: mobility, local pollution and micro climate
3) The city and its urban ecosystems: urban ecosystems and ecosystem services
4) The city within its planetary boundaries: resource depletion, climate change and nexus issues
Aim of the hub, is to connect science with practice. The Master Thesis researches all are focused on today's environmental problems in cities like Den Haag, Rotterdam and Leiden.
