I am the new program coordinator of the recently launched LDE program Climate and Biodiversity, working closely together with the Leiden-Delft-Erasmus Centre for Sustainability. My role is to connect the urgent societal challenges of climate change and biodiversity loss in transdisciplinary educational, research and network activities.
The past 25 years I dedicated my studies (TU Delft), PhD (Erasmus University Rotterdam) and work to understanding and stimulating sustainability transitions. I have worked in different roles, as action researcher, lecturer, trainer, program manager, future explorer and policy advisor societal transitions. I enjoy building bridges between science, policy and practice and I always look beyond the borders of organizations, disciplines and generations.
