On Thursday 8 October, we will resume our webinar series after the summer break with a Regenerative Dialogue featuring dr. Rob Lubberink (Centre for Economic Transformation, Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences) and Mo Qaem (Oostamo). Together, they will introduce us to the principles of regenerative business models and explore what these look like in practice. They will share some of the lessons learned during The Regeneration Program, a five-month journey set up by the Impact Hub Amsterdam and the Centre for Economic Transformation, to support businesses that go beyond sustainability in strengthening and scaling their regenerative mission.

The speakers
Dr. Rob Lubberink is assistant professor (lector) Circular and Regenerative Ecosystems at the Centre for Economic Transformation (CET) of the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. Within the Collaborative Entrepreneurship & Innovation research group, Rob works closely with practice partners to develop impactful entrepreneurial networks and support organizations in their transition to more regenerative practices. Using participatory methods in his practice-oriented research, Rob helpsprofessionals develop new skills such as system thinking, complexity thinking, navigating uncertainty, essential skills for current but also future professionals to move toward a regenerative culture and economy.
Mo Qaem is a regenerative entrepreneur. His work is rooted in his family history in saffron farming in Iran and a strong desire to reconnect people with nature. From pioneering sustainable food and urban farming initiatives in his mother country to working on farmer empowerment with the United Nations, Mo has dedicated his path to creating businesses that benefit both people and the living world. Today, as founder of Oostamo and co-creator of The Regeneration Program, he supports organisations in translating regenerative principles into meaningful practice.
