Kick-off event Knowledge & Innovation Lab The Happy City

Start date
End date

On Wednesday 30 November knowledge- and innovationlab The Happy City will organise its first 'Round Table' sessions. The lab, a collaboration between the Leiden-Delft-Erasmus Centre for Sustainability and the Leiden-Delft-Erasmus honours programme 'De Gelukkige Stad' brings together students and researchers to think about happiness within cities and more importantly, how to design such happiness. After a pilot phase, it is now time to include stakeholders and others who are interested in getting together to take on the challenges of happier, healthier and more sustainable future cities.

This event allows us to give you more insight into the projects and the applied theories and methodologies that we have been using for the past few years. Prof. Dr. Lucas Meijs (EUR) and Prof. Dr. Pieter Desmet (TUD) will talk about the possibilities of achieving happier cities. After a debate we will talk to a group of stakeholders (e.g. governments, businesses, non-profit organisations) during round table sessions.

If you would like to attend the Kick-off event please check out the below attached invitation (only in Dutch) incl. the programme. For more information about the possibility of graduating in our Lab see 'afstuderen' text below (ENG). If you wish to receive more information about this event and or if you wish to join us on 30-11, please send an e-mail to info@gelukkigestad.nl
